The Australian University Games
The Australian University Games is the largest annual multi-sport competition in Australia. Ultimate is a medal sport in the AUGs, and UQ has consistently achieved strong results, winning in 2007 and placing second in 2006. It is held in spring, and provides UQ Ultimate a chance as a club, to show its stuff.
In 2008 the Australian University Games will be held in Melbourne, and UQ is looking to maintain the strong position it has achieved in previous events, but will also be sending a second team if numbers allow. To represent UQ you must be studying at the University of Queensland in the second Semester of 2008.
